Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: May 21, 2026
Short version: every outbound link on this site that points to a GLP-1 program, telehealth provider, or weight-loss product is an affiliate link. If you sign up after clicking one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never change which brands we cover, how we rank them, or what we recommend.
What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a tracked URL that lets a merchant know we referred you. When you click a link on weightlossprotips.com to a brand like Medvi, TrimRX, Ro, Hims, Mochi Health, Found, or any other program we review, and you go on to subscribe, weightlossprotips.com may receive a referral fee. The price you pay is identical to what you'd pay if you navigated to the brand directly — affiliate fees are paid by the merchant out of their marketing budget, not added to your bill.
How this works in practice
- Buttons and CTAs labeled "Visit [Brand]", "Get started", or similar are affiliate links. They carry the HTML attribute
rel="sponsored noopener noreferrer"as required by Google's webmaster guidelines and the FTC. - Internal links (to other pages on weightlossprotips.com), source citations, and links to government, academic, or peer-reviewed medical resources are not affiliate links.
- If a brand we review does not offer an affiliate program, we still review and rank them on the same criteria. They appear alongside affiliate partners with no markdown.
Editorial independence
Our rankings, scores, pros, cons, and verdicts are determined editorially before any affiliate relationship is considered. Specifically:
- No brand pays for placement, ranking position, or favorable coverage.
- No brand reviews our content before publication.
- Higher commission rates do not influence which programs we feature or how we score them. We have downgraded paying partners when our research warranted it.
- Our scoring rubric (clinical rigor, true total cost, medication availability, insurance navigation, customer service) is the same for every brand, affiliate or not.
FTC compliance
This disclosure exists to comply with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255 ("Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising"). A summary affiliate disclosure is also included in the FAQ on the homepage, every brand review page, and in the site footer — so the relationship is disclosed close to where you'd click a link, not buried.
Not medical advice
weightlossprotips.com is an independent editorial publication. We are not a medical provider, pharmacy, or telehealth service. Nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. GLP-1 medications have meaningful side effects and contraindications. Always consult a licensed clinician before starting, changing, or stopping any prescription.
